Connectors are used as a link between the elements of a shunt system (e.g. catheters and valves). All connectors manufactured by Christoph Miethke GmbH & Co. KG are constructed of titanium and are biocompatible. Most commonly the internal diameter of the Titanium Connectors is 0.9 mm and the external diameter 1.9 mm.

Titanium Connectors

KG are constructed of titanium and are biocompatible. Most commonly the internal diameter of the Titanium Connectors is 0.9 mm and the external diameter 1.9 mm.

Titanium Connectors, straight

The Titanium Connectors can be used in conjunction with catheters having an internal diameter of 1.2 to 1.5 mm. The external diameter of the catheter should correspond to a value twice that of the internal diameter.

Titanium Connectors step-down (reducer)

For spinal drainage, the Titanium Connectors step-down (reducer) is available. It is used when the peritoneal catheter has to be connected to a spinal catheter.
