The Thrombinator system is designed to produce autologous serum at the point of care. This autologous serum helps improve the handling of bone grafts by activating platelets to produce a gel that serves as a binding agent for bone graft material. The Thrombinator process applies the principles of the clotting cascade to produce autologous serum without the use of harsh chemical reagents.

This versatile system has a touch-panel control with an intuitive graphic user interface and was designed for multiple orthopedic procedures. The SynergyResection shaver features two fully functional channels that allow optional simultaneous handpiece operation. Use a single footswitch to control both channels, or attach a second footswitch to the console to operate each channel individually. The SynergyResection shaver has a maximum speed of 8000 revolutions per minute, providing precise burr control during surgical procedures. Additionally, the shaver's setting can be displayed on the operative monitor when connected to the Synergy imaging system (heads-up display) using a dedicated cable (available as an optional add-on to the Synergy console).

The Synergy sheaths are constructed by expert craftsmen with the finest materials. The Arthrex specific scope connection sheaths feature numerous sizes, lengths and configurations to accommodate any arthroscopic need. The high-flow tapered and fenestrated sheaths work with both 30° and 70° scopes. The tapered sheaths hug the tip of the scope to reduce cartilage gouging and the fenestrations are recessed to minimize tissue collection. The obturators feature a lightweight handle to increase efficiency during the sheath insertion and also minimize the proximal weight of the sheath system. The single and double stopcocks are rotatable and also modular for each sheath system. Each sheath is available with a single or double stopcock. The obturators are purchased separately from the sheaths.
